Yep, gotta have a Long Weight. But if you couldn't figure this out yourself it's probably too hard for you.

Someone who is slightly mechanically inclined, has a service manual, and has a good set of stands (or some rafters in the ceiling) can handle replacing and redoing the forks.

Indeed, super easy stuff once the bike is suspended.

well what is it you are doing? was the bike in an accident?

the forks slip right out of the triple clamps, so unless your changing offset or diameter etc why change the triples?

if the triple clamps are damaged you could have bigger problems than simple replacement. if the bike hit hard enough to bend triples I would get an analysis done if I were you, then pricing starts to become in issue.

well I would have a look see around the welds on the head tube, and that will still not be any guarantee. they would have to be zyglowed to be sure. damage does not look that bad. Insurance companies are not MC experts, they just figure out how much something will cost to repair versus what the loss would be and in most cases they just total it. bike looks very repairable, but doing the way you are thinking about doing it (just replacing triples and forks without alignment) can yield troubles only after the bike is assembled and riden... if you get my drift

STREETFIGHTER... FTW!

Anyways it is pretty simple to replace forks and 3 trees. Just take note how it is and pay attetion as you tear it apart! Just need basic tool set.

my ins company said the total of my car (when i tboned someone) would be around 6,000 dollars. i was pissed cuz i didnt want a damaged car back, i wanted it totaled.

1 month later after repairs, my cars still in the shop because they found more damage. the total damage exceeds 10,000. should have been totaled gdmnit!

dont trust estimates prior to a teardown.
