I bought the bike this summer and got in an accident this fall. Somebody pulled out in front of me and hit them head on in the passenger door at like 15-20 mph. Theres about 11k miles on this bike.

The estimate i got from a dealership was somewhere in the $5-6k range, thats replacing everything that had a scratch on it with new oem parts. The other guys insurance company quoted me for $3300 in repairs. The main damage is the forks and triple trees being bent. Exhaust has some dents and rash, as well as the whole right side after it fell over. This bike was absolutely mint when i bought w/o a scratch on it!!1

The police report said both of us failed to yield. But i made the claim against the other guys insurnace company and they should be paying for it. Somebody waved this guy across three lanes of traffic and he went across mine perpendicular and i t boned him. Sounds like a no brainer in my book....and apparently the ins. companies too.
