how do you know if your rods are bad?
car turns on but with in time. got a b16 if i do need rods i think i want to change pistons as well... what else do i need to change if i want new rods. is oem the way to go? ive heard itr rods and ctr pistons is a fovorite.... Is this confusing?..

my friend fucked up his b16a2 hatch...
he left to virginia to go work with his uncle
he put me in charge to fix up his car
he says its the rod thats knoking
he is giving me 1500 budget
he wants to built it up fast enought to beat me...hhahaha(not gunna happen)

a b16a2 eg. yea we decided on ctr piston kit from ebay for 250 and now im looking for some itr rods. also putting in order for rmf narrow header and stage 1 cams. any one know any good shops to take it to in northern california? for dyno tunning and installation?

dude seriously
open a phone book, call local shops, see who they recommend for engine building. talk to your builder.
building an engine is not a game. you will spend thousands of dollars, and if you pick the wrong part it can all destroy itself in seconds.
