Depends on the size of the turbine housing......check in the holset thread. There is info in there on the different turbos that came on different dodge trucks and the turbine housing sizes. If it was really cheap and 14cm^2 or smaller I say give it a try and see if you can live with it. On a b16 I would not want anything bigger than the 12cm^2 housing, but you might be happy with it. I personally have the hy35 with the 9cm^2 turbine housing and see full boost ~3800rpm or so on a gsr engine, ramhorn mani (neukin) with a 4" to 3" dp, full 3" exhaust which includes a 3" cat . GL.

I have the biggest turbine ( 16cm^3) HX35 housing on my stock sleeves B16. Starts building around 3800, 14ish pounds at 6000 and 19 at 7000. It is pretty laggy; but I don't care

385whp on 18psi. Now on 19, car was making 15whp per pound of boost at the end and the dyno plot is starting to climb steeper at my 8200 rev limiter.

If you just put valvesprings in it (what I need to do) you can still have a big "laggy" turbo and great powerband. 5000-10,000 rpm

Alot of people are using the bullseye Power turbine housings with the holset turbos to help get the spool down.

Definently check out the Holset thread there is tons of infomation on them in there.

H1C = HX35

H1E = HX40
