Default looking for a good aftermarket knock sensor

any one know of any?? im running a built d16y7 but its in a obd1 p06 ecu car and they dont support knock sensors

i have seen the j&s safegaurd but its expencive let me know if there are any other options you know of

why dont you run Hondata and run a gsr or si knock sensor,i did that for a guy running a d16a turbo withno problems when he went to hondata

its actualy an option i was thinking about but 1 i cant find a place to buy the rom editor and 2 i was reading about the stock knock sensor not having to broad of a range to read in and i plan on running 22 psi so i need it to read good

well from what i have seen, i have heard of people here running stock knock sensors boosted on that kind psi with no problems

So what are you going to use that 'makes sense' of the knock sensor output, whichever one you decide to get?

The J&S uses a knock sensor from some manufacturer...Saturn, GM...someone - so you can order that one, if you wished.

well i know you can use a oscilloscope a company called educating mario made one that worked using a gameboy and there cartdrige for it but there out of buisness now and i cant find any small oscilloscopes i can easliy use in a car


any other options??

i have the car tuned on crome now but how would i get the p06 ecu to work with a knock sensor when it didnt come with one from the factory
