Default 88hf crx d16y8 idle jump IACV- video

88crx hf crx. no vacumm leaks, just jumping idle..obd2 d16y8 so there isn't any fitv...only IAVC on the back of the manifold. Mine is in clean condition, i dont see how this can be the problem..especially if the screen is clean..?

ive heard that the obd1 iacv work better due to a bigger hole esp with obd1 ecus. (what ecu you running?)

on cold idle it ive noticed it can be fixed by adjusting the idle screw, but in some cases it only covers up the problems that may be caused by the iacv.

on my old engine (d16y7) it did that on cold star till warmed up. now my recently installed d16z6 has surging idle when warm. opposite temperature problem but both were due to the iacv. cleaning can help, but replacement is the best usually. Which is what i have to do with my z6

REMEMBER MY motor is a d16y8, which obd2 not your z6 or whatever.. My IACV is like in new/perfect condition its common sense it wouldn't be it..I rather check down the list to make sure i knocked everything out cheaper/smaller if possible before i spent some money into it. 99 d16y8 with p28

They all serve the same purpose, your not getting preformance out of your IACV so whateever you heard about bigger hole and ecus...is just "he say" she say" ****..

use the proper one for your intake manifold and wire it up correctly..you'll be fine
