other than, it runs pretty good. Plus the electric fan doesn't seem to want to kick on.
actually, i have a bunch of little problems that i'll probably be posting on this forum about but these are the more pressing issues.
any help will be great.

-Clean out IACV
-Bleed the coolant system
-Check for vacuum leaks
-Check the coolent temp sender for the fan
Edit: If none of those fix the idle. The distributor could also cause this problem.

Also try opening up the FICV (the one near or under the tbody, sometimes the rubber grommet unsrews it self and leads to an "air leak" which in turn give you the surge.
Wow! this is quickest I've ever gotten a response back from any forum. this is great!! Thanks. i'll go check those valve after work today.
one more question.. i wanna order a timing belt and looks like maybe a distributor. what are a couple of good sites for parts?

Distributor King is where I recomend for the distributor. I got my timing belt from Autozone. While changing the timing belt do your water pump and also there is a seal on the end of the crank. I cant remember the name of it, front main seal maybe? That is something that I would do also. No sense in doing things twice.
