a couple weeks ago i changed out my distributor cap and rotor. when i turned the car on after i insatlled them i had a really rough idle so i shut it off really quick. but then later i started it again adn the idle smoothed out, but ever since then i've only been getting about 200 miles per tank instead of my usual 300. is there possibly any connection?

 

double check your timing to make sure it didnt get messed up

my mechanic friend said my timing is fine, it turned out i needed a valve adjustment, now it runs great
