Default Headlights quit working

I turned my low beams on this evening, and they came on as usuall, but then about 2 seconds after they both went out. I have checked the fuses under the hood, and the fuse box that is under your steering wheel. All fuses seem to be ok. what else could be the cause of this problem? Possibly the relay, but then again there is a seperate rely for each light, and I doubt that they would both go out at the same time. Any suggestions?

Have you checked the bulbs? Are you using stock lights or do you have a plug and play HID kit etc. More info please.

they are silverstars. I replaced them about a month ago with no problems. The bulb being out it a possibillity, but what are the chances of them both going out at the same exact time?

Silverstars seem to go out on me alot. Like you, my first set went out at the same time. I don't know the reasoning but your not the first one to experience this. I've been through 3 sets of silverstars. Now im back to OEM

I know all about not getting any kind of moisture i.e. oils from your skin on the bulb due to high temperatures. I have recently checked the bulbs and like you said all mighty they are burnt out. I am very surprised to see that they both went out at the exact same time. The filament in both bulbs looks as if it vaporized. I think I am going to stick with oem or get some hid's.
