how do bad CV axles sound?
well, i have noticed that only when my car is in gear and rolling, that it makes a sqeaky/whining/high pitch sound. its so hard to describe a very exact descripition of a noise, but work with me here, lol. My cuzin told me it could very well be my cv axles making the noise to, how could i determine if it is them? CAN a tranny really b capable of making such noises when still new? i only got 12000 miles?

no, it only seems to go away when i push the clutch in. when the clutch is depressed and i start going again it makes the noise. when its pressed in it wont make the noise. im having a hard time pin pointing the source of the noise, and i would probably not bitch about this problem except that its not a normal noise, not even if it was a used car.

well my friend, maybe its just me, but i feel the technicians at the dealership dont have a clue wut they r doing on these new acura's. plus it takes so damn long for them to fix anything. also, if a car is under warranty, they try to say its normal, or make up some other excuse cuz they dont get paid with cash, the warranty is wut covers the amount of mula needed for the parts or repair, so they dont acutally per say, have profit. they just work that way for wutever reasons, and it gets annoying to be honest.plus they expletive around way to much with customers cars.

mine made both.......before i replaced it, my car would make this high pitch noise when i let it roll. It also made clicky noises when i turned. After i replaced it no more noise what so ever.

I know excactly what your talking about... i had a problem with my left blinker, the relay was messed up and only my right blinker would work right. And when i would turn on my ac the left blinker would come on and stay on. I took it to honda and they spent "2 hours " trying to figure out wht the problem was and they still didn't figure it out. $118 down the drain , thanks a lot honda, it was a $35 part too. i trced the problem and fixed it myself.
Does it make a crackleing noise?? is so then it might be the axles. i hear them alot on older beat up hondas that people have no clue about, but everytime they turn a corner and the axle is under any stress it makes a crakleing sound

Dealerships still get paid for warrenty work, given its not as good as a straight rate project, but either way they are still making money.
You have a warrenty bring it in, get a rental comparable to your car and take nothing less.
