doing a b series swap in my del sol
had a d16z6 in it
the slave cylinder doesnt seem to match up to the b16 trans
i searched and i found d and b series slave cylinders are all the same
do i have to flip it around or somthing?
it seems way too high

 

is your shift fork bent or misplaced?

clutch fork and shift fork are completely different.


the hardlines are different, you have to "bend them" to get the D slave cylinder in place.

 

do you have to flip the slave clyinder around
cus when i put the slave cylinder to the holes,
it is too high to push my release fork

make sure the ball end of the push rod goes to the release fork.... you should be fine, also do you have it bolted correctly.

 

yeah, when i put it up to the holes, it just looked really high

You might just need to compress the push rod into the slave cylinder to get the mounting holes to line up.
