Shifting Problems PLEASE HELP!!
I posted this in the tech forum to but since it may be FI related, I wanted to put here too.
I posted this up a few months ago and still couldn't get to the bottom of whats wrong with my car.
Here's the story:
After like about a half hour of driving, my clutch seems to loose pressue and not be able to shift anymore. Once I let the car sit and cool down for a few hours it will drive like butter again, but after some time driving it feels like the gears start to get sticky and then eventually I cannot shift, It feels like I'm trying to shift without pushing in the clutch.
At first your all going to think, slave cylinder or master cylinder. I replaced them and things get even worse now I cannot shift at all. IF I put back in the old master cylinder that was originally in there I can shift again but after driving for a while it will get hard to shift again.
I've tried 3 different master cylinders and two slaves, all brand new with no success. I even tried making a heat shield for the slave cylinder as I thought the turbo was making the slave too hot but not luck.
Motor is 95 GSR with T3/T4 turbo setup, log mani.
Anyone have any advice?
