The type r pressure plate is a couple of pounds lighter than any stock honda pressure plate. The type r one is between 15 and 17lbs which gives you more torque than the rest.

I'm not trying to be an *** here, but what answer are you looking for?
None of us are mechanical engineers who can tell you the exact clamping force numbers in lbs., and again I can't even think of where to find the actual clamping force ratings for stock Honda clutches.
I would try asking an employee of a clutch company, such as ACT, Exedy, etc. I mean they rate their own aftermarket cluthces at "xx% more clamping force than stock clutch" so you'd have to think they would need to know the raw data for the stockers before claming a % above them, right?
I believe there is a member by the name of "ACT man" or something like that around H-T.

seeing as tho you SHOULD replace the pressure plate when you do a clutch job, and you dont want to put a used clutch on a motor your building..................why would you give a expletive?
