so, i swapped in a Y8 in my EK, can I use the old Y7 distributor since my car is a 96 and the motor is a 00. Or do I have to get one for the y8? Im asking this because i've seen it go both ways, looking at some on ebay and other places, I see people say that its the same distributor for both motors, and also have seen people say its differnt cause one has vtec and one doesnt. So i'm just wondering, I'm not running the right ecu or even have vtec hooked up right now, reason being, I ordered new ECu and other goods, its just not here yet. SO question is...will the Y7 dizzy work with the y8 motor and be fine with hitting vtec and having it run ok?
