turbo experienced people wanted...integra ls turbo stock
well guys i just blew my motor in my integra and i am swapping a ls motor with 40,000 miles on it.
basically, its time to turbo the thing...
I have done research on this website and others, but one thing i really want to know.
I just want more power, i dont want to push 10-11 psi all at the top end on my stock internals.
All i want is a little more power, on the safe side. This is my daily driver. I want the engine to last atleast 180,000 miles.
What is the safest kit and setup to go with. I am thinking 8psi based off what i have been reading.
Later i plan on building the valvetrain.
Opinions from daily driver stock internal ls turbo integras (not lsvtec). How long have you had your setup. How hard do you drive it. What all has gone wrong so far. Would you do anything different with your setup.
thanks for your time

you can go with a safe ammount of psi, but make sure you ems and fuel is up to par and make sure you get a good tune on it, to make sure everything is safe
Well it starts out with "I just want a little more power" then the bug gets you. A little is never enough. But none the less go with the Greddy kit, you cant go wrong with that.
i ran 19 psi on my stock b18a1 for almost a year with not a problem. using only FMU.. ppl tend to not like me for that ha but i dont care.. only ran it at track once and that was only using 11 psi i ran a 12.8 quarter mile. motor still runs strong as ever to this day.
Roydogg (user on here) is pushing 330 out of his greddy kit on a BONE STOCK LS longblock. i belive he upgraded the downpipe and exh to 3inch. runs off of chrome.
did i mention he's been running this engine boosted with the same turbo kit for about 3yrs now.
