Ive already searched and looked it up, but My driver side axle is broken in half and the cra still doesnt drive. I would think that with the pass side intact the car would still drive?. This is in a 92 hatch, also waht would be the best choice of an axle. Could I just use the 90-93 teg axle? Need help fast please

I plan on gettin nice axle very soon, I just dont have the money right now. I just want to know if this would cause the car not to move?. Also will the teg outer work?

Thats the only thing I see wrong with it. Im pretty sure there is nothiing else wrong, why wont it drive then?. WTF!!!

h22s can be a pain. what happens when you put it in gear and try to drive?

It doesnt make any noise really,a very little Clicking noise. Its def not clutch or anything, Im pretty sure. Then when we pushed it back off the track, it would click eveytime the tire rotated one time, but I think thats the broken axle. It doesnt feel like anything, doesnt shift hard or anything. It jsy wont drive when I put it in gear

 

unless u have a spool in the tranny your car is not going to move when one axles is broken.

 

So that would explain why it wont drive. Just because one axle is broken the car wont move. What do you mean by a spool? Thanks for the answers!

 

it wont move because the transmission puts the power to the wheel with the least amount of traction or load, thus being the one that freespins, thus the reason it wont move.

and yes, the teg outer joint is what you use.

 

That's would explain why that damn thing won't move. What year teg axle should I use? I really need to get this car back on the road. Is there anybody closeby that could help me? I've never replaced an axle and I'm not real sure how to replace tripods either. TIA!!

 

you cant use the whole teg axle, only the outer cv joint for sure, the rest is a mix of teg and lude parts to make one axle.

 

So how do I order that from say an Advanced Auto Parts? Do I just say I need an outer CV joint from an Integra?.What year do I need? Need help fast because Im about to go look for parts

 

bump. I cant just buy an outer CV joint, I think they only sell the whole axle. How do I take the outer part off and put that piece on my mid shaft....Im Lost....please help!
