lowering springs?

Default lowering springs?

will springs from a 98 civic coupe fit on my 1992 hatch posted in suspension also

The fronts bolt in exactly the same, but the EK ones lack brake hose holders, so you'll need to secure the lines with zip ties.

The rear will only work if you grind the rear lower control arm bushing thinner where the lower fork of the strut slides over the bushing. EK struts are the exact same dimensions EXCEPT the lower fork is thinner.

I'm running Koni Yellows intended for an EK on my EG, so this is first-hand info, not hearsay.

would it just be smarter for me to take the springs off the EK struts and put them on my EG struts

Depends on the condition of your EG struts versus the EK ones honestly.

If you want to do it the right way I'd look into just buying new struts anyways. The ride quality is so much nicer on new struts than old Eg or even EK ones on lowering springs.

i should prolly add that its coming off an EX-EK and going onto a Si-EG
