gsr turbo or supercharged
Car 99 gsr
All i see on honda tech is how turbo is the best.... well Wat about supercharging, looking for some advice on which f.i. setup i should go for. I noticed that most superchargers are carb legal
, while gredy is the only company i can find that makes a carb legal turbo kit, which i hear isnt to great
... What do u think/ recommend?

Yeah if you can put it down to the wheels.

As nice as superchargers are, you still have to worry about engine temps. And then there is a problem with turning up the boost. You might be able to reach 10-12 psi but after that to my knowledge your maxed out.
Atleast with a turbo you have better intercooler options and have less limitations on max power. Also, you could get a smaller dual ball bearing turbo to help on the low end like a GT28R.

turbo FTW, simple fact supercharge's just don't go well with out cars, turbo's are the way to go, room to expand, and more reliable.. i have had my car under boost for over a year and a half and the car runs great!

There are carb legal kits if you are worried. Greddy and Edelbrock are a few.

you can find a used supercharger for less than a turbo kit, but it's not going to give you as much power.

well doesnt a supercharger rob power from the engine inorder to run it b4 it gets u gains? turbo uses ur exhaust waste to generate power. i dont think a supercharger is a good idea for a 4 cylinder car, not enough power to make it reasonable for the gains, turbo is my choice
yeah, superchargers use engine power to run. that's why they make less power than a similar psi turbo setup. you can still make decent power with a supercharger on a 4 cylinder, just not as much as a turbo. it just depends on how much you wana pay.
