need help with b18 block

Default need help with b18 block

i killed my motor i have a 99 gsr and i was wondering if i could use a 94 block i have been told i could and i couldent

so if i can what will i have to change

im pretty sure u can because i mean...if u can take a b16head and put it on a LS block, wouldnt that be MORE than enough evidence that u can mix and match the years of head/blocks?

Yes, you can, you will need to change out the oil pump to be able to hook up the crank position sensor. Other then that I believe the blocks are identical.

yes the obd2 has an crank position sensor and the 94 (obd1) doesnt. SO change that and u are good to go

Like 95 integra said the blocks are the same but you will need to change the oil pump so you can hook up the crank sensor.

its the same size motor. i dont see why u couldnt because like one dude said u can switch up heads with blocks. so good luck
