im installing a dc race header on my base 02 rsx everything is going great but the problem is the 02 sensor thats right in the middle of the catalyctic converter!!!! there are these two lilttle sidewalls thats making any tool im using to get it off worthless, if anyone has had experiance w/this problem can u please post it up thanks

 

Yeah, there is a special tool that makes taking the 02 sensor's easy. Actually its a universal 02 sensor remover and is basically a socket w/ a slit that goes halfway up one side to get the wire through it.

You can dent the cat to get your wrench on there. Just don't strip it out or you will be in a world of trouble. My advice is to head to sears and get the right tool.
