Yet another O2 primary sensor problem
I installed a Comptech header today and ran into some problems with the whole primary o2 sensor. As you can see from the picture the connecting wires disconnect from the connecting unit. I had no choice to do this due to the amount of torque placed on the bolt connenting o2 sensor to the header unit.
So if anyone can please tell me a simple way of getting these damn wires back in the connector unit snug.

Usually it just takes a little push on the wire terminal to "lock" it within the connector..
if the terminals were accidentally pulled out, the the lock tabs in the connector may have broken off causing the terminals to come out of the connector easily...
You may want to try using an epoxy to hold the terminals in the connector, or maybe you can do away with both connectors and just "hard wire" the terminals together...

I think it would be safe to experiment here and just connect the wires together... If you get the wires crossed it will affect air/fuel mix and make the car idle like crap and eventually throw a CEL... just reverse the 2 wires if that happens.. I'm assuming this is a non-heated 02? If this is a heated 02 I would disregard everything I just said since there is alot more wires involved...

Oh ****, very interesting you said this, because I've notice some Idle problems when I'm stopped at the stop light. It will go down to 500 rpms and almost go below until I hit the gas. Would you recommend me just disconnecting the wires, mess around with them until find the right setting, go to the Acura dealership asap with the wires disconnected. It's the o2 sensor that is attached to the header.

i agree with above but it is not a heated o2 it would have 4 wires
Ok few questions and BreakStuff I owe big time.
1. Shall I keep driving the with the O2 sensor still plugged in and not sure if they are in the correct connections.
2. My brother has a Helms manual and they sorta give you the color code of what color wires go into what connectors. Shall I relly on this info, BTW helms manual for a 1997-1998 prelude.
3. Call my buddy and use his 94-97 integra helms manual. Do you think that he has the heated O2 sensor in his header pipe?
