ZC motor

Default ZC motor

What do you guys think about the ZC motor going in a 92 civic hatchback cx? waste of time/money? good? bad? Im just wondering casue some one is selling it for 300 for the complet swap(i think). Is 300 worth it?

I think it'd be a cool idea. I don't think 300 bucks is too high a price....then with the money you saved on getting that engine, you could go turbo.

Is it one of the few ZCs made for that car, or will you have to convert it to OBD1?

I'm assuming you mean a DOHC ZC (like the 4th G Si came with).

I think switching it over to OBD1 when you can probably find a nice Z6 for about the same money isn't worth the trouble.

You should be able to find a Z6 for no more than $400 if you look around.
