yea the money would be better spend on a better motor
its a waste of money to put a zc in a 92+ car.
its essientally a non vtec b16
wich is pretty much a d16
wich is pretty much a civic ex.

if you want somthing cheap just get a d16z6 swap.

but as i said the money would be better spent on a b series.

not hard at all. everything will bolt up just like dropping a stock engine in.

The ZC puts out 130hp.

The D16Z6 puts out 125hp.

The D16Z6 has tons of parts available for it like cams, camgears, valvetrain, turbos, superchargers, etc.

The ZC will be damn near impossible to find cams and the gears are rare and costly too.

The ZC in a 1992-1995 Civic is a waste IMO.

But to answer your question it will bolt into your car and up to your Civic tranny as well. Use all of your stock Civic mounts. You can run it off of a DX P06 ECU of possibly an Integra LS P75 ECU although that will probably be a tad on the rich side in terms of fuel.

Just get the D16Z6 man.

I just noticed that you signature says "CX automatic soon to be 5-speed..."

Sorry, but you have a DX hatch then. The CX was NEVER offered in an automatic here in the U.S. Only the DX hatch was offered with optional automatic.

Here's something to check on to see if you really have a CX:

Do you have side moldings on the car? The CX doesn't. Do you have a rear wiper? The CX doesn't. Do you have cloth of vinyl interior? The 1992 CX has vinyl interior, not cloth.

Well?

Tom has a black belt in verbal karate.
Yes the cable tranny ZC wouldnt be worth the time/effort/money to put in a 92 CX
