Taking apart the R, when to take off SAFC
Guys, this post almost brings a tear to my eye but I am taking off most of the parts my R has to try and sell it more effectively. WHat i'm going to be taking off is my SMSP 4-2-1 Multipiece header and SMSP exhaust system, which is all for sale even though I have a local buyer, but make offers anyway! Contact me by PM or preferred e-mail; Lifter2012@aol.com
The pics of the exhaust are how it was before i put it on my car and it has since been cut after the header and after the cat to fit. I can get pics of it on the car now if asked.

Heres the underlying Question: I had it tuned a while back with an SAFC-II and i'm not sure when I should disconnect that, the stock exhuast system will be going back on the car, so i'm guessing before i put that on, or doesnt it not even matter? I'm basically concerned that I just dont want to get an CELs since the car is for sale and want to do it the correct way. Thanks

VERY nice parts. I highly doubt you will receive any CEL codes with the stock setup back in place. As long as you are still running your stock P73 and you have all the sensors in place you should be fine
All that a SAFC does is modify voltage.

damg that setup rules, i need to speak to them about getting that muffler part number. do you have a sound clip of that setup or a description? i would think something straight through like that would be loud

i think i might have a video of that setup somewhere, its actually VERY quiet lol. because of the 22" resonator and cat and the muffler, it was slightly louder than stock and no raspyness at all, i loved it and now its gone
