i had the same problem when i was replacing my rear door on my 4dr ex.. i just cut it.. i did not need it in the first places/

On a 96-00 civic there are just 2 bolts that hold the hinge in place. Do you have any better pictures of what you are talking about?

heh, thanks.. got it off.. now i have to switch the wiring for the mirrors and switch out the locks.. eerrr.

This should be the same or either very similar to replacing an integra door shell right? If you could, do a little write up. that would very helpful. And btw how did yours turn out?
