Default mini me help

Okay I recently bought a d16y8 head and I have a y7 block. Is the mini me swap as easy as switching everything off the head and putting intake manifold and exhaust headers back on?

make sure you pull the oil jet restrictor, or you won't have any oil to activate the VTEC.

you may have to use a combination of head bolts between the engines .

Mine turned out to be a big project; I ended up buying:

new vtec distributor
new vtec compatable wires
new plugs for the 1.6 head
head gasket
head studs
intake & exhaust mani gaskets
new water pump (might as well while you are in there)
new timing belt
modified ECU
other stuff I can't think of right now.

You are going to have some other issues with that head...the Z6 is more of a direct swap for a 92-95 d15 than the later heads/block combinations.
