Default H brace?

I dont know to much about these braces, can anyone let me know the advantages to having one of these and if there are any disadvantages to having one.
p.s it would be on a DC2

You can feel the front end being more stiff. It also protect your oil pan.

I still would like to know if anyone is running this with a K swap.

i've always wanted to get one of these but i think my car is to low to even go over any speedbump and all i'll end up doing is bending cuz i'll probably hit something a big *** bump..

Yeah you're better off just letting your oilpan and downpipe protect the more vital components from road damage.

thats another question i have i have a 3" downpipe you think it will get in the way?
