broken thermostat

Default broken thermostat

sup guys, i replaced my thermostat about a yr ago, maybe less and it stopped reading the temp on day...any ideas on whats wrong and how to fix it?...please post any thoughts or suggestions!! thanks

there's a lil plug under dizzy check that out ...maybe u need to replace the sensor ?

Is the thermo OEM becuase if the it isn't , then its most likely the problem.

Are you getting heat from the heater? If not, thats another clue that it is your t-stat.

yea, im getting heat fine...and i unplugged that sensorto the thermostat and same thing happened..doesnt read anything

sounds like a bad coolant temp sensor.

aight, well after 34 bucks i replaced that sensor and it's still not reading anything...any ideas guys?

something is wrong in the coolant temp sensor wiring or in the gauge its self

i was thinkin about switching the wires up..but then i realized that it was working at 1 point just the way it was...it stopped suddenly...could it be a fuse??

i'm not sure if there's a fuse, but i wouldn't switch the wires. i would check the wiring for damage & check the cluster like stock_honda_coupe said. swap clusters with a friend and see if it works. if it doesn't, it's either wire damage or possibly your ecu.
