Thermostat problems
I recently flushed out the coolant on my 94 vtec del sol. Before changing it I noticed that engine temperature gauge wasnt working because the needle just stayed on cold. Now that its flushed and replace with new coolant it still isnt working, I am just wondering what the possible problems could be? the sensor?

Re: Thermostat problems (delvic)
define cold? like bottomed out or it just colder then usual?
check the sensor, (resistance) then the wiring.. put a fixed resistor and see if it changes.
Also.. do you have a thermostat in it?

Ok, let me go from the beginning.
1. When you flushed the system, did you PROPERLY bleed all the air out of the coolant system?
2. Did you replace your thermostat with an OEM thermostat?
3. Check the voltage to the Temperature Sensor, to and from.

Yeah it was flushed out properly, no need to replace the thermostat because my car isnt over heating, I am going to check out the electrical wiring and the voltage to the sensor.
