Default bypass the srs light with after market steering wheels..

is there ny way to bypass the light to go off after i start the car on? this is for my 95 eg6.

Pull the bulb.

or

cut the wire.

u dont need to cut the wire nor pull the bulb, just disconnect the wire behind the cluster closest to the bulb, it should be yellow...thats what i did for my buddies car.

if i cut the wire at the steering wheel will hte light still come on normal and then go off after start up ?

no, the light only goes off if the SRS system is working properly.

no i mean will the light still go off everytime u start the car and then it goes away. not stay on like there something wrong with the air bag system....

i have the same problem on my ek hatch. i have momo steering wheel and abs light stay on all the time. Can i just remove the fuse where is the fuse located?

prolly with all the other fuses...my hi-light fuse blew out so it was under the drivers side dash (97civic)

if you use an aftermarket steering wheel there will be somethign wrong with teh air bag system...theres no drivers side airbag.

Is that all the yellow connector is used for? I have the factory steering wheel and my airbag IS installed but my light is on. If I want to retain the factory wheel can I get this light fixed?

Well yah, I could do that... but I am actually a little concerned that my airbag system may not be working properly. I replaced my gauge cluster after I bought the car and the light was unplugged on the old cluster... so apparantly it's been on for a while.
