Default Locking Hood Pins

Just bought a set of locking hood Pins. Wheres a good spot to put them? I was thinking near the front middle of the car (marked #1). I've also seen them near the side of the hood (marked #2)

Yes.
Few ways around that, go slow...
go slow.

go slow

and most important go slow.

A propper bit to cut clean will help wrapping around the area etc will help too.

Mine came out ok... I really didn't want to use pins but only way to clear my motor

Cover the area in masking tape.

My eye bolts used to be the inner headlight bolts drilled out. Now that I got JDM headlights I made a custom eye bolt that is the same thread and all as the stock bolts on the bottom
