Default How bad can it be?

Found out I'm missing an engine mount bolt (the non-pointy one on the passenger side) and went to a lapping day. Would this cause any diaster down the road?

Nope, not likely. Replace it. It probably explains some of the strange sounds you heard during the lapping day

Only things I can think of that take extra stress would be the other motor mounts (mostly), and maybe axles or anything else that can get stretched with excess motor movement. But, that's mostly nothing, just replace the mount and count your lucky charms.

Hell, when I bought my racecar, I noticed that one of the mount bolts was missing, and apparently was missing for three years of racing........I don't think doing one lapping event will be a problem.

Oh, crap, I thought he meant the motor mount bolt that goes *through* the mount, not one of the three bolts that holds it to the tranny.

Yeah, I think I'm missing one of those...

I too have been missing one for the four years i've owned my car. Just go to honda and get a new bolt, or junkyard (you wrench it style)....
