well when the car is off the car goes into every gear perfectly fine, now when im driving it gets hard to put the gear in 3rd and 5th especially... If i push my clutch in 3 or more times it will go in easily... its becoming a hassle when driving on the interstate it takes me about 15 seconds to change gears cuz i cant get it to go into gear....

Clutch cable has been adjust several times..

 

Sounds like your syncho's are going out. Basically what you are doing by pushing the clutch in and out is getting everything lined up and at proper speed to shift smothly....double clutching. If was guess that is what I would say it is.

On the old farm trucks and tractors you have to double clutch to get it to shift on the fly. Especially if you are racing your buddy through the field or down the road.

 

what would it cost to get that fixed or how would i go about doing it
