Default help...wheel jerking to the right.

hey guys.
on the way home today.
my car all a sudden started jerking to the right violently. as if someone was tryign to steer the car to the right.
it would jerk to the right and sometimes pulsate as if it wanted to go to the right.
doesn't matter at what speed, but i kept it down to 30 just in case.

when it pulsates i hear metal like sounds and something snapping like. a wierd sound. i can't explain it, its like a spring popping.

got home, jacked up the car, check to see if anything was loose, nope everything seems fine. rotors rotate easily.
i'm stomped what can it be?
axles? can bad axles do that to a vehicle, i mean cause the car to jerk to one side.

it feels like the the jerking is only on one tire. the passenger side.

i have a pic of something that i've never seen before, or never really payed attention to for that matter, i'll post it up shortly.

any help would be appricaited. oh yeah, brand new honda axles were replaced less than a year ago at the dealership. to be exact it was replaced in dec. of last year.

CV joint, ball joint or tie rod.

ball joint and tie rod looks good.
but can't really tell by playing with the cv joint.

If your driving in a straight line and the car pulls violently to one side then there are 3 things i can think of that may cause that.
1. Completely bust front shock on that side.
2. A broken spring.
3. Broken upper control arm (or very worn upper balljoint)

A bump test should tell what the shock is like, but beware ITR front fenders are soft, so open the hood and push down on the shock tower instead.
Jack the car up and see if there is any movement left/right in the wheel, ie. if there is movement towards front or rear of the car

well on the way home, i would be driving perfectly straight, no problems and no bumps on the road, and next thing you know it just jerks and than it stops. and than comes back. and than stop.

it'll just jerk or start to pulsate like the steering wheel jerks hard when it jerks and when it pulsates, its like you're driving on a bumpy road.

Sounds just like what happened to me when I broke an axle on track.

i'm debating its the axle as well, i know the shocks are blown for sure, otherwise my ride will be hall bumpy, and i only have 30K km on the clock and its an 01, and i just put neuspeed sport springs on to lower it in aug.

but it is posible. hm..i'll call up acura tomorrow see if they can warranty the axle than. or the axle.
