Default Removing Evap Canister

I remember Mike K had a post about weight reduction and he said that he removed the evap canister and emissions system. I wanna do this cuz i am all into weight reduction. I want to know what do I do with all the hoses and **** that come out of it. I was reading my helms manual and it says it vents the fuel tank vapors or something like that. I wanna remove the system but dont know what do with all the lines.

Thanks to anyone who can help me out.
Scott

the evap can is like 2lbs fyi or less. as for all the hoses you just unhook them all. Let the gas tank line just let out air from the tube directly and thats it. You will not pass smog with it removed as well as any police inspection, etc... Worth 2lbs in weight loss? I doubt it unless you have taken everything else out. Just remove some of the GSR sound deadning material or remove the power antenna for the same effect.

I already removed my sound deading, rear wiper, antenna, and cruise control. I was just gonna save some weight and mount my catch can down there. When i go for inpection next year i will put it back on.
