when your car gets hot...and its got a full tank of gas, some of it turns to vapors, those vapors go through a hose to the charcoal canister. Why get rid of it? Theres no performance loss, its not like the LX exhaust, choking your car of power.

remove the can, cap off the intake manifold, and cut the line for the vent (that ran to the can) back at hte gas tank so u dont smell the fumes. everythings done on my car... just gotta cut the line in a few mins when i get my car up on the lift.
