Default h22a4 valve train + boost?

Hey all, im looking forward to doing a 100k service and an engine rebuild all in one shot. Ive looked into the rest of the setup i want, but im very unsure about how much HP an h22a4 valve train can take. What are the limits?
I'd be happy with about 275lb/ft of tq to the wheels. (yes, i plan on aftermarket pistons and rods. )

any insight here would be great, thanks.

the valve train should have no issue holding that much. but there are always those situations where things do happen. even if you upgrade them it can still happen. but 275 will be fine with stock valves. also i hope your getting sleeves with those pistons

you've got a lot of research to do if you want to boost. Especially if you're thowing in aftermarket internals. Read the faq

Thanks, so your saying it would be decent insurance? As far as the sleeves go, im getting the mahle gold series h22 pistons. Im easily staying under 1 bar of boost.

either way even if coated i would still sleeve it, due to what i've seen in here. its a bit more than an insurance policy. definetaly read the faq's thats the best advise anyone can give you
