I did a quick search and found that its the VSS, I just installed a new one and it didnt fix the problem. The car is a 96 civic ex, with a D15B, speedo doesnt work, and swapping in a new VSS didnt help. Any one have any suggestions?? Will this cause vtec to not work?? I have I/H/E and zex cam, and cant hear a vtec engagement, but then again is the engagement noticable with the single cam?? All help appreciated!!

check the alternator fuse, both the vss and o2 sensors are run through that fuse

happened to a friend of mine, his speedo didnt work either, tried different vss's

 

alright i just swapped out fuses and nothing happened, any other suggestions?
