maybe thats because you dont have a good tune.
to the OP:
search around the FI forum and maybe talk to Bense, he pretty much wrote the book on vtec-e performance .

Re: d15z1 turbo?!?!? (knockout)
this is very true but it is getting built as soon as i blow it up, but with a tune now it would be able to keep up with stock gsr's and civic si's

Probably beat them unless you suck at driving. Boost the hell out of it.

True, take care of that matter and you are good to go.

Get a stand alone like the EMS, new tranny, and keep the boost around 6-7 psi to be safe. I'm not sure about those injectors either. I know on the 96+ Civics, the non-VTEC injectors (and the Y5 injectors) are smaller.

How can you say that when you don't know what turbo he is running?
Boost means nothing, its how much power the motor can handle

Re: d15z1 turbo?!?!? (cambopheonix56)
i have slightly bigger injectors and its quick the trans is rough in high rpm but it still can keep up with the grs's and si's when it doesnt lag, with the setup i have and i have been running 9 psi all day for 5000 miles with no problems
