Z10 oil pump fitting for Vtec oil line?
Would this be a good idea for the oil line for my new Vtec head on my LS block? I will be using the ITR oil pump. What do you guys think?
The Z10 peice is on the right, it replaces the stock plug on the left.
This is what Z10 says about it:
Fits on the back of the oil pump on B and D series engines
True 1/8" NPT port, not BSPT
Run a vtec or turbo line directly from the oil pump
No need to run many clumps of tees
CNC machined from 6061-T6 aluminum
Hard anodized
It cost 19.99+shipping.

I wouldnt... running a line from the oil presure sender unit is a better idea. The oil is filtered through there... but when ran straight from the oil pump, its not as filtered, plus there is no gains in running from the oil pump.
you sure it is filtered??????
If you are leary run the VTEC line from the block oil pressure sensor area then run the oil pressure gauge off the Z10 adapter.
