alright so i got another climate control (this is the third) thinking they were all at fault but still it doesnt change between head to feet to defrost..this is really got me stumped. it is on a crx. i even tried jumping the wires to see if it would do something based on this wiring diagram



Still no go. is there a fuse somewhere? or a relay? the fan works fine just not the position switch for the fan. thanks

 

not sure if they are motor actuated, if it is push button, the linkage for the gates could be jammed up, or rusted, or the motor itself bad, check that.

 

so (just to clarify i dont have a climate control at all) if i jumper 4 and 13 or 12 it will set it to vent? how do i know if its 13 or 12??
Edit: nvm i'm looking at the wiring diagrams... dosent look that simple...

it must be the motor. i replaced the controller with another broken one (temp selector is broken) and it lights up now but still doesnt change the vent. I just manually set it to open the defrost adn just use it when i need it.
