D16z6 rough idle
I have a 92 Vx Civic hatchback w/ a stockt D16z6. The idle is really rough and the idle rpm is really low, especially after running it on the freeway for awhile and then come to a stop in neutral the rpms damn near drop to almost zero according to the tach. Sometimes it even shuts off, but starts back up. There is no problem at all while im driving it, its just when i dont give it any gas at idle. It already has new spark plugs, plug wires, dizzy cap and rotor, igniter, coil, and air filter. There are no obvious leaks in any of the vacuum lines. The timing is correct. I even ran a fuel injector cleaner throught the fuel system and still have the problem. The weird thing is that this problem didnt start until right after i adjusted the valves on it. I even readjusted the valves again and had them double checked. Ive adjusted the valves on this car before the same way and know that shoudlnt have caused this problem. If any of you have ever had this problem it would be appreciated in sharing how you corrected it. Thanks
