Default Problems with Tokico Illuminas

ok guys.. i have an 94 civic hatchback.. and i was changing my suspension today with some Ground Control coilovers and some Tokico Illuminas. I was planning to go really dumped but theres a few problems, right now my car fits an pinky finger between the wheel gap but the tire is scraping against the fender a LOT also the shocks are set on 5(max) and its not riding stiff at all.. i had some regular KYB shocks before this.. and it feels almost the same. My friend had an del sol with the same setup and he slammed it down all the way with no scraping problems at all... same tire sizes, rims offset, same suspension. any idea what it could be? i've seen some eg hatchback around on this website lot lower.. and was wondering what i can do to go that low... thanks

someone help this guy out..I had the same set-up on my del sol..205-50-15s as well...my ground controls were all the way down and my shocks were only set on 3 all the way around and it was much stiffer/no scraping/rubbing what so ever.

what's your spring rate?

i never got the point of having your car so low, into the ghetto look?

and whats rubbing, front/back?
is it rubbing the fender or the wheel wells?

i'm not sure whats the spring rate...
its rubbing only in the front actually.. the back is perfectly fine.. and its rubbing on the outside of the fender..

if its rubbing the fender...the stock answer...roll your fenders.
