Default Which Pistons/Rods fit this hybrid?

b18b1 block and b16 head, both with stock components. ITR pistons will fit right in no problem right? can I get ITR or CTR pistons on eagle rods made for the stock b18b1 crank? thanks

Any B16/17/18 piston will fit, but you need to buy rods to match your B18B crank/block. just remember, the B16 head will yield a higher static c/r on whatever piston is in there than the LS head would.

I don't think so, because I tried the same thing and the shop told me that the eagle rods would only accept pistons with a "floating pin" type. See the vtec pistons are pressed on type pistons, the only way that you could use ITR pistons is if you used the stock rods.

The ITR pistons fit stock b18a/b rods, but will require little modification. As far as for the eagle rods you could buy some aftermarket pistons, like SRP, JE or the like that use a "floating pin". I personally have Eagle rods with SRP pistons.

I would go with JDM ITR's and crower rods.
Oh and yes you can use Vtec rods on a non Vtec crank ie B18a
