rods dont fit pistons
so i bought a set of eagle rods and a set of nippond racing jdm b16b pistons for my jdm b16a wich are just stock replacement pistons but were the rods and pistons go together the eagle rods wont fit in the piston but my stock pr3s will? when using eagle rods do you have to get special pistons?

Re: rods dont fit pistons
Don't know why there is a fitment issue. I know of other applications where only eagle rods have been used. There are many builds where eagle rods have fit other pistons. i.e. alot of people like the eagle rod/JE piston combo or eagle rods/SRP pistons. Maybe just some bad luck, or you received incorrect parts either on the rod or piston end.

Re: rods dont fit pistons
alright well i am holding a set of pr3s and pr4s rite now and the small end is the same width and their 20mm wide and the eagles are 23mm wide. but that answered my question that aftermarkets are wider thanks. i didnt plan on putting these pistons in this motor just the guy wanted 100$ for the eagles so i had to buy them
