im throwing a code 1... o2 sensor and have a brand new o2 sensor and i was told it could be a stuck fuel injector making it get like 15mpg and it smells like gas. i was told the code is just being thrown because its running so rich. cars a 91 std with a mpfi swap

after you replaced the o2 sensor did you reset the ecu?

im having the same problem if the injector was clogged why would it run rich?

If the injector gets stuck open then its gonna dump more fuel into the system cause you to run... RICH :D

15mpg is great!

 

Get a bottle of fuel injector cleaner give that a try

 

i picked up some new injectors ill give them a try

 

same problem,
Couse, low volts on injector install a relay in to the power source of injector, cleaned the injectors, and the car was ok,

 

If u changed the injector the problem will be gone for few runs, after that the new injector will also stuck,
