Default B16a and GSR.. What parts are interchangable?

I have a OBD0 b16a in my CRX right now and I plan on doing a OBD1 GSR swap. I have a Y1 tranny with LSD that I want to put on the GSR. Im pretty sure that will work since theyre both B Series but what about the flywheel and clutch/pressure plate? The GSR I am getting will not have a flywheel on it. Also Im pretty sure but I just want to confirm this, intake manifolds are not interchangable but the header is right?

tranny will fit; the clutch disk is what differs between the 2 spline sizes.

For the most part...you should look on building a "poor man's type R"=B18c1 bottom end with the b16 head....get the head port and polished....add ctr pistons and camshafts...you should be a lot quicker than your stock gsr....as for manifolds---they do not have the same bolt patterns...but the Type R intake manifold is same as the b16's and they also have short runners as well....tranny is also interchangeable...good luck keep us updated

If it's a B16A- specific header, it might not clear the B18C block, since the B16A deck height is shorter.

b16a will not fit on b18c1 block. Tried it with my friends before I thought about grapping the dcs-ports off him, but did not fit due to length.

You've never heard of the poor man's type r? The b18c is basically the b18c1 bottom end with a port and polished b16 head...
