B16A Intake Manifold on B18C GSR
no you can't.
as ekb16 mentioned they have different mounting holes.
the B16a and the ITR manifolds are the same as far as they will fit on the same stuff but the GSR's are different.

i know...but from research and reading i did...alot (if not all) of after market intake manifolds are based on the Type R manifold=shorter runners than b16a. From dyno charts and what i read was the the b16a intake manifold is some what better for power band from about 4300rpms to 7600rpms, as the Type R is 7600rpms to 8500rpms. I am looknig for a manifold the will help in acceleration like the b16a...I am wondering if there is something close to it that would show the same results in power band.

there are obviously better explanations to this, and praise be to whoever does it better than me but...... our motors make power in the top end anyway, unless you have aftermarket cams that make better midrange and what not you don't need a different stock intake manifold on your GSR motor, especially one that won't fit. Getting an aftermarket one will look better, perhaps pull less in the midrange (without a tune especially), and pull harder up top due to the design.
if you have a b18c1 the ports are nothing like a type-r or a b16a. although if you have a b17a they will inter change.
as for the aftermarket obx is a good bang for the buck $150.00
