I have a b16a, bolt ons.
I have a b16a gearbox, i want to switch to a gsr tranny.
How much slower would i be if any difference at all, due to the gsr taller ratios.

I recently went from a gsr tranny to a Type R trans (B16a ratios) and its faster for sure but Im wanting to put the gsr back in
Id go GSR But im also running A turbo GSR motor 262whp.... It seems with the type r trans im shifting into 5th alot... the gsr 4th is pretty solid gear

As long as you don't fall out of VTEC when you shift it really won't make a huge difference. Obviously higher gears are faster (barring shift points, track length, traction, etc) but going from the b16 to the gsr won't change much other than your gas milage.

He will fall out of vtec, in my opinion it's a horrible idea. A tourqeless B16 and adding taller gears is not a good combination.
Just a side note to the OP I picked up 3 tenths in the 1/8 by switching out my GSR granny for a B16.
