Default B16A with not much potenial

i have a b16a but the prb with it is that it has a sensor on the intake manifod.... so im not even sure if its JDM anymore but the stamps reads B16A thats it.... I have a b18c (GSR) tranny and i dont really feel much potenial from this engine.. is it the tranny? or its just im use to its speed?

I don't really understand what you're trying to say about your sensor on the intake manifold. The GSR tranny shouldn't be hurting you. You're probably getting used to the extreme lack of torque that comes along with the B16. Do something to spice it up a bit, an intake, a header, a nice exhaust. Even go run around the block with open header a few times. You'll feel much better.

The longer gears of the GSR tranny doesn't help...wait, do you have a cable GSR tranny or a hydro, if cable it should be very short gear ratios, if hydro that's part of your problem, the B16A tranny has much more aggressive gearing. Please don't repost about how it isn't THAT much shorter unless you actually have experience doing this, I've had a FEW cars of mine that I went from GSR-Si tranny-world of difference.
Also, B16A denotes JDM. B16A2, B16A3 denotes USDM
